Open to 7-15 year olds. IMPORTANT NOTE: During the Monday through Thursday class time the students will develop a performance. Then they will have the opportunity to perform their creation after the class on last day of class.
Students will participate in a hands-on, interactive theater experience that will deal with writing, improv, acting and creating scenery. The instructor, Chad Patterson, will take his 20 years experience in working with elementary, middle and high school kids and apply it to giving students a wonderful introduction to the stage that will hopefully spark a lifelong love with theater. We will teach character, voice, movement, improvisation and some backstage responsibilities as well.
All supplies and materials will be provided for this 6 hour class.

Fish and Flora in Alcohol Ink
with Julie Tibus

Two Days - Aug 26-27 10:00am-3:00pm
Love those alcohol ink paintings you see in galleries? Wish you knew how they did that? Join this class with master teacher and artist Julie Tibus to learn the techniques of painting with alcohol ink on paper and receive guidance on your individual pieces.
Use what you've learned (and practice to learn more) by painting a neon beta fish on black. Follow that up by doing some colorful roosters on white paper! Bright alcohol ink will bring your pieces to life!
Julie will provide lots of demonstrations and she has planned for plenty of time for guidance and individual coaching as you work. By the end of the two days you will definitely know how to make alcohol ink work for you and two alcohol ink pieces ready to hang (or gift!).
And the best part? No experieince is necessary! (But if you have experience, coaching will be at your level.)
All materials provided.
