Join Val Whaley in a class based on the art of popular children's stories. Some authors are also artists, like Leo Lionni and Eric Carle (The Grouchy Ladybug). We will recreate some of their art after reading their books.

Then, the class will create new art based on books like Beautiful Oops! and Jeremy Draws a Monster.

All materials provided including a snack.

Full refunds if AAV cancels the class. Refunds minus the processing fees up to seven days before class begins. No refunds after that time.

3D Art involves creating artworks that have depth, width and height. No drawing on paper! This art will be touchable! You'll be able to view it from multiple angles, offering a more immersive and tactile experience for kids.

The class will use a variety of materials to create sculptures and a mask as part of this class.

Registering for this class means kids will create sculptures, like Dale Chihuly's art! But, they'll use Shrinky Dinks! It will be fun to see what the students create!
