If you love to doodle and do some drawing, but want to improve your skills (or just practice with some feedback), join local artist Shrry Graziano for six weeks of creative fun!  She'll help you harness and expand your skills by guiding you in the use of a sketchbook!

Materials Used

Everyone needs an 8 x 10 multi media sketchbook (one that can take some watercolor, markers, pastels, charcoal, pencils, eraser and have at least 25 pages) The important thing is to bring what you have, the paper in the sketchbook is what's important. So it can accept different mediums.

Sherry will bring lots of random supplies for students to try, to see if it's a match. But to start, you only need to have an 8 × 10 multi media sketchbook, a pencil and an eraser. Whatever you use at home is fine to bring.

The class will cover different materials, subject matter, color, ink, markers, and charcoal. Participants  will discuss how to choose a subject and get your own artistic license!

  • Week 1 Materials
  • Week 2 Perspectives
  • Week 3 Color
  • Week 4 Things that move
  • Week 5 Quick masks
  • Week 6 Things that don't work out! What to do?

If you have questions, come early as Sherry is always there a half hour early.

Materials  (Supplied.  But you may want to bring your own.)

8X10 Multi Media Sketch Pad (25 pages is best)

Gray kneaded eraser

Art Pencil (or whatever #2 pencil you have )
