February 8 and 15 from 9:30-11:30am MUD ROOM
Join Terry Dickinson to explore how to paint realistic trees of winter.
This image of a snow covered spruce tree will give students the opportunity to become more comfortable with values and edges. The drawing is rather straightforward and the color is a limited pallet consisting of Blue (either Cobalt or Ultramarine), a medium Orange and yellow ochre. A proper handling of values and edges is what gives a painting its emotional punch.
This class is open to all ages. It is open for those at all stages of learning art - beginner to experienced. Registrants only need to be able to remain engaged for the full class period.
