Class Description:
Interested in a relaxed crash course on using a potter's wheel? This course is for you! In this two and a half hour session, students will learn the basics of working with clay on a potter's wheel and receive guided hands-on experience from an instructor.
Each student leaves the class with two handmade creations. Students in the class can expect to:
-Learn Mud Room basics including emergency procedures, room rules, and clean up expectations
-Learn to prepare clay for the wheel
-Watch a wheel throwing demo with guided discussion of the steps
-Spend time practicing basic wheel throwing techniques
-Have fun!
Registration includes all supplies and materials, wheel time, a glaze day, and two firings in the kiln.

A refund minus the processing fees is issued if registration is canceled more than seven days before the class begins. No refunds after that time. Full refunds if AAV cancels the class at any time.
Creations must be picked up within four months of the class.
