Looking for a fun, hands-on activity where your child can learn new skills and express some creativity? This three day, one and a half hour workshop is perfect for young artists eager to learn the basics of beading and wirework. The class will focuse on making beautiful, handmade creations to keep, to gift, or just because!
WHAT YOUR CHILD WILL EXPERIENCE:
This class gives your child a chance to experience a variety of techniques to put together multiple pieces. The projects will integrate the Great Lakes and art styles of native peoples from around the world. Possible options for projects that registrants may choose include:
- Bead peoples "Beaples"
- Backpack clip
- Memory wire bracelet (stackable)
- Beaded tassel key ring, luggage or zipper decoration
- Wire Bracelet
- Bookmarks
- Suncatchers
- Lanyards
We provide all the tools and supplies! Your child can walk away with three finished projects (or more!) and new skills in design, coordination, and use wire with beads.
Don't miss out! Spaces are limited to just 8 budding jewelers!
