AuSable Artisan Village

Kim Diment, nationally renown artist and owner of Main Branch Gallery, is offering a 1-day basic drawing class for secondary school students and adults on January 4. The morning session, 10:30 to 12:30, will be an introduction to several techniques to teach anyone to draw. Those who already know will use these techniques to improve their skills.

During the afternoon session, 1:30-5:00pm, the students will be exploring graphite, and working on individual pieces using subject matter of their own choice. By the end of class, students will have the skills to complete their work.

Students should bring an ebony graphite pencil, a mechanical pencil, and black and white subject or reference photo(s).

During break, you might grab lunch or refreshments at local restaurants.

Full refunds if AAV cancels the class. Refunds minus the processing fees up to seven days before class begins. No refunds after that time.
