Have fun making your very own, personalized nature-centered sketchbook to carry with you and save your memories!

Kids ages 7-11 get your adventure hats on and get ready for wild times. Learn to sketch wildlife and draw details with author/illustrator and nature artist Lori Taylor. Learn to sketch “bio-facts” and practice observation and new drawing skills on a short nature hike. Then make handmade paper and eco-print paper for covers or pages to create an altered, collaged, string-bound artWILD sketchbook to take on summer explorations!

And for a bonus, make a "wild" brush from gathered materials on the hike.

Bring an old hardcover book to alter and turn into something new to hold your art. Add pockets and field notes for field study.
