Class Description:

Create one-of-a-kind charms for the fall season! Instead of buying trendy charms, make your own using colorful polymer clay. Join polymer artist Susan Thiel to design 6-10 custom charms that will be assembled into a bracelet, charm necklace, purse charm, key fob, or even earrings.

Choose from a wide variety of fall and Halloween-themed cutters, including leaves, pumpkins, apples, mushrooms, forest critters, and spooky symbols. Personalize your creations with alphabet stamps, then add color and detail using paints, mica powders, stamps, alcohol inks, or easy-to-use printed image transfers—perfect for beginners and experienced crafters alike. 

Polymer clay is durable, colorful, and lightweight, ideal for making jewelry.  You'll learn the basics of working with polymer clay while creating unique accessories that reflect your personal style.  Whether you're making jewelry or a fun charm keychain for your backpack or purse, you'll leave class with wearable art that's ready for the season.

This Friends & Family class is designed for ages 9 through adult and is a wonderful opportunity to create together. Grandparents and grandchildren, parents and children, siblings, or friends can enjoy a fun, creative experience while making keepsake charms to share.

Class Description:  

Come create a spooky Halloween decoration that's sure to glow!

Join polymer clay artist Susan Thiel and create a unique Halloween mobile that can GLOW in the DARK!!!!  Students will learn to use polymer clay cutters and stamps to create a spooky collection of ghosts, bats, gravestones, and other Halloween-themed pieces.  

Once the clay pieces are baked, students will assemble their mobiles using colorful beads and wire to create a personalized Halloween decoration.  With endless possibilities for creativity, each mobile will be one-of-kind!

This Friends and Family class is designed for age 5 through adult and is a wonderful opportunity to create together.  Grandparents and grandchildren, parents and children, siblings or friends can enjoy a fun, creative experience while  making a Halloween keepsake to share.

Class Description:  Create your own custom Halloween Candleholders! Join polymer clay artist Susan Thiel and learn the basics of working with polymer clay while transforming small glass jars into fun and festive candleholders.  

Stuldents will learn how to create a variety of Halloween designs, including a GLOW-in-the-DARK Mummy, Frankenstein, Pumpkins, and more!  With plenty of options, each student can design and decorate 2-3 candleholders of their own choice.

The class making portion of this class runs from 1:00 - 3:30.  The finished candleholders will bake during the final hour of the class  (between 3:30-4:30) so that students can take home their creations at the end of the session.  

Come ready to get creative and make some spooky- and fun- Halloween decorations!
